Mental Health America of Vigo County supports individuals and families in their efforts to improve their quality of life. Mental Health America envisions a just, humane, and healthy society in which all people are accorded respect, dignity, and the opportunity to achieve their full potential free from stigma and prejudice. Committed to promoting good mental health, MHA seeks to help individuals experiencing a mental illness and actively advocates services and treatment for everyone's mental health needs.
Mental Health America of Vigo County, affiliated with both Mental Health America of Indiana and National Mental Health America, sponsors several programs designed to assist members of the community. The programs provide permanent supportive housing for individuals who are homeless; youth programs to increase protective factors, self esteem, and resiliency; crisis intervention; and education for those who want to know more about good mental health. Our programs were designed to promote good mental health for everyone.
