YOUnity House

For the past several years, YOUnity House has worked to break the cycle of homelessness. Our dedicated staff works to support people through their journey from homelessness to permanent supportive housing with comprehensive services. Eligibility criteria established through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) must be met in order to apply.

Sweet Home Terre Firma

Our agency collaborates with area landlords to provide permanent, safe, and affordable housing to individuals that are homeless and disabled. Through this program eligible participants can be approved for rental subsidy. Staff works to guarantee that tenants are engaged with community services that will prevent them from re-entering homelessness. Eligibility criteria established through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) must be met in order to apply.

Individuals with a persistent, chronic mental illness are especially vulnerable to the factors that contribute to homelessness- factors like chronic poverty, the rapidly changing housing market, poor health and addiction.
